Today October 17, marks the completion of my 19th year with my current employer and going into its 20th year. Yup, that's two decades with the same organization.
- 19 years ago I was just a small young guy trying to find a better job during the 80's recession. I was only about 120 lbs heavy, and my waistline was like 26".
- 19 years ago I wore a pair of Converse (or was it Adidas?) sneakers to report to work at a small outfit in Kuantan. I can still remember those who thought I was reporting as a student..!
- 19 years ago I drove a second-hand Charade and the drive from KL to Kuantan took me like forever!
- 19 years ago I didn't really think I would stick with the same organization in 19 years time.
- 19 years ago -- come to think of it, wow that was a long time ago...
- And of course, 19 years ago I didn't have a kid who's going to take his SPM come November...
- 19 memorable years... Happy 19th Anniversary to me...
