Pantai Cenang

The beach is beautiful, not crowded, not spoiled. People are enjoying their morning soak in the waters. I would just prefer to sit down at one corner and do my work on the notebook pc.

I'm supposed to be at MRSM already. The Muafakat AGM is at 9.00 am. But then I'm not interested in the meeting nor the agenda they put forward. I would rather come in late just in time for the meeting-the-teaachers session.

Hey...I can now feel the slow breeze coming through the air. I was here this morning around 7.00. You would expect it to be cool and windy in the early morning at the beach. No, not here. Somehow it is rather humid here. Not hot but humid. And at the beach in the morning, it is quite strange that it is not as windy and cool as you would have expected. Nevertheless, the view and atmosphere is enough to make it all worth it.

Breakfast was at one of the street stalls. There are plenty of these along the road. I think it is Jalan Mali or Jalan Malai (as Porto Malai is just around the corner.) When you drive along this road, especially in the early morning, you feel that you are driving along on of the streets in the Universal studio. And if you can imagine further, the town is like one of the cowboy towns in the movie but rather modern lah...

Back to breakfast, we had roti canai and nasi lemak. I had the chance to talk with fellow 'local tourists' from KL this morning and each of us agreed that the price for food here is rather 'mencekik'. Yup, lunch yesterday of nasi campur for two cost us RM10.20. And you thought KL has a high standard of living !!
