Merdeka Celebrations
Today at office there will be a Merdeka celebrations organized by the Student Affiars department. Still don't know the itinerary of the program.

I like a program shown by NTV7 last Friday on how our kids celebrate Merdeka nowadays. Most would throng the concert sites and spent time there until the wee hours to watch the concert and fireworks at the stroke of midnight. But it was really sad to see that these kids actually had different agendas on their mind. Remember the report in the newspaper about the girl who wanted to make it with her boy in a car was later duped by bogus policemen? And in the end she got raped!! Well at least she got what she wished for !! Ha ha..

I fear what and how my kids will celebrate Merdeka in years to come...
