Kedah Assignment
Went to Kedah yesterday. Had a very early 7.15am AirAsia flight and the college driver was kind enough to send me to LCCT eventhough it is a holiday today. Reached Alor Star airport around 8.10am and was pleasantly greeted by an old friend and his colleague. We had breakfast at the old-Convent-School-turned-kopitiam.

I had to be a stand-in for my boss at the launching ceremony of the Alor Star college's alumni association. Since this is their first meeting and it is a very long weekend here in Kedah, the turnout is as expected - low. Anyway those who did turn up managed to elect among them the new committee members and by the look of their enthusiasm, they are are going to be a good core of leaders for this newly-formed association.

Gave my speech and after lunch and a few enlightening talks between us staff and ex-students, I prompted to the airport for my early afternoon flight back to KL. Used the KLIA Transit service and in fact managed to write a few lines of this blog while in the train.

Tonight there will be a MU-Arsenal game on TV. I hope Ronaldo and other MU strikers can come up with some sort of goals-spree tonight. Hah..! Chelsea lost last night, and Mourinho kept on giving excuses like "I don't have enough defenders...blah, blah blah.." You have so many players !! Why then do you need Shevshenko, Wright-Phillips etc. in the first place. Go and get defenders if you know having short of defenders is your problem. Poor Sheva and W-Phillips because they can be regular starters on any other teams.
